When The The Red Flag On , Here is What We Should Do to Elevate Our Mood

Yes it is hard, painful and uncomfortable for a week. And that too every month, 12 weeks in a year,84 days of continuous bleeding. The stains were a nightmare ONCE UPON A TIME on January 3rd xxyydd (forgot the year blaaaa!!! )  Hmmm....I still remember the day that cried loudly from my shower seeing those tricky spots. My mom came to the bathroom as if she knew it already, as if she expected to hear this. It's okay okay. Amma is here mole (mole - daughter), nothing to panic. She shook her hands with me and said congratulations.

I was like 'Urgggg , am bleeding here and you are congratulating me on that. How weird is that? Then she washed me, and taught me how to keep the sanitary napkin and advised me that I am entering to my teenage and you have become a woman. I didn't get it then. But then one by one my classmates have also seen to be shy those days. So its not only for me but for every girls .

So let me leave the story there for now, and come to my point that is we as girls , during our menstrual time, we have mood swing often and pain that put us in to stress. I have seen my friends who cannot even wake up from the bed due to pain and they survive on pills, which are really not good for their health. I myself have been addicted to painkillers before I knew how to tackle this problem. So here is the 10 things which I do before my period starts and during my period to keep myself away from pain and to feel better on those days.

This is the time were we need Rest & Care the most. So here it goes.

Before the flag raise, here is my preparation :

1 - I have an app called " Period Tracker" on my phone. I always forget the dates, yuck and I can't be a mess in such days, so I put this on and It will notify me way before I get it. So it is good if you can install one on your phone too. Remember this is not just an app to remind your period dates but to tell you if it is a safe period , ovulation frequency etc. It will tell you date by date what goes on your tummy. Nice to have it monitored for maintaining a healthy period cycle.

2 - I start to eat dates , at least 2 -4 pieces every day one week before the period comes. Because it's a rich source of healthy fiber and vitamins that will relieve pain.

3 - I make emergency hygiene kit ready, with a sanitary napkin, a disposal bag, one cotton towel tissues. I put this in my hand bag.

On the big day :

1 - I am ready to get up and will have a shower on the same time to make myself keep clean and then put on my napkin. I change it every 4 hrs to make sure that it will not cause any infections there. Even if you have less bleeding, it is good to change it every 4 hrs.

2 - And the nasty part is the rashes, we get after walking and running this cottons between our legs.
I always put coconut oil during night between there and sleep off. The next morning you wake up it will be healed. Don't wrinkle your faces now, it works . Try it, rather than taking all the pain. If it is severe , you may use an antiseptic cream or gel which you can get from any drug store. Some say to use powder but I don't use. I find it awesome with coconut oil

3 - Drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated even if you don't feel like drinking.

Love Unconditionally - No restrictions, No Jealousy.

Love him like how you will love yourself. This is what I do . I love myself too much and this love is what I am showering to him.  There is no judgement, no bias , no arguments but just love. Life is the shortest journey that we are boarded on by the creator. Everything that we see, enjoy, cherish will fade away one day or at any moment of time. The problem with people is that very few understand what I said above. Time is something we are not sure about. You do not know if you will be hit by a car when you go home after work, You are living a unpredictable life. So things have to be taken gently. Good or Bad its all the same. We will face everything here itself. We are carrying a burden of expectations  and drag it to wherever we go and will put us in pressure very single second. Only love can change the world. If you have enemy, she or he cannot resist u if you start smiling at them or showing no anger at any of their  actions. Remember , I had written about anger...

A Berry Ride to the Green House of Dubai

One fine day, Mr.V took me for a ride, something unplanned and unexpected. He took me to a greener place . I mean, in Dubai, I never expected to see so much green, come on its a desert. Yes, you can see few plants here and there or some garden but not a dense forest like this. I couldn't believe my eyes when he took a turn and dived in to a road that was so empty, quiet and refreshingly green with two sides of the road full of big bushy trees, and grass. I was literally OMG! I looked him with sparkling eyes full of green, what a breathtaking view? I am sorry, i forgot to tell you all that we were in Al Barari - in Dubai. A best place to spend some healthy time with family and friends. He took me to the best place. He always does that to my  endless surprises.Al Barari is must visit place, if you visit Dubai. ( " The Al Barari community was designed with the Zaal family’s Arabic heritage in mind from its renowned beautiful gardens to the Islamic-inspired architecture ...

Money can buy medicines but not healthiness. A luxury mansion, but not a family. Sex, but not love. Success in being you is happiness. So to stand out in a crowd, I value the precious things that money or fame can’t buy# Anoopa Sajeev

The title for my today's article is something that I give full credits to my school friend Anoopa. While scrolling through my blogger friends profiles, I came across her blog " Writers Cafeteria". I ma not sure how many of you might have been subscribed to her blog. I just simply love it. She is actually an inspiration to me, and I really appreciate Anu for all her efforts in maintain the consistency and clarity of all the post. The title lines are from her post called "Painting my dreams". and this statement from her post particularly triggered my mind to write about it. For the very first reason, this is so true in our lives. We cannot buy happiness. My only intention when I made this blog is to help people create it. As I can see most of the people are searching for it through several activities, at the end of the day they get exhausted and not happy. They buy I phone new edition, upgrades of their gadgets, buy luxurious things and whatttttttttttttttttt...
